It was a beautiful sunny day in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic during UMass spring break 2012. Catherine was enjoying a walk along the beach when she noticed a group of guys drinking out of coconuts which had just been freshly cut from a palm tree. An extrovert by nature, Catherine jumped into the group, grabbed a coconut and posed for a photo. The group dispersed and went on their way to enjoy the rest of their week in DR. Little did Greg and Catherine know that they had just gotten a glimpse into their future. Fast forward to March 2015. Catherine and Greg's post-grad paths led them both to Dorchester, MA where they each settled down into apartments where they lived in triple deckers with roommates. Noticing the coincidence on Facebook, Greg shot Catherine a FB message and struck up a conversation. In time, he suggested they meet up for a drink. Catherine agreed and as they say, the rest is history. 8+ years later we couldn't be more excited to start our next chapter as husband and wife!

It was a gray Saturday in January. Greg had told Catherine they received an invitation to join friends for Brunch in the Seaport. An Uber dropped them off at The Barking Crab, where Greg suggested they walk along the Harborwalk (a place Greg and Catherine had shared many scenic walks together over the years). This time during their walk he got down on one knee. The celebrations continued all day as Greg had arranged a surprise engagement party with all of their family and friends. It was the best day ever.
